Love like Crazy- it's worth it!

Anyone seen the movie "He's just not that in to you"?? I have to admit- it wasn't everything I was hoping it would be but there is a valuable lesson to be learned....GIGI is desperately looking for love- to the point that she often times misreads signals and finds herself thinking that there was a connection when there's not much there... But no matter how many times she gets hurt and let down, she just keeps putting herself out there...
I will be the first to admit that I was (am) 100% Gigi.. a hopeless romantic who trust me
has had her fair share of discussions with "the girls" (this includes sisters, friends, co-workers, and the occasional stranger who was willing to listen) about dates that I have gone on or relationships, trying to analyze what the guy was thinking... I have been hurt too many times to count but deep down I always knew that if I believed enough that LOVE would happen it would...

And when it happens for real it somehow makes all of the pain, frustration, and agony worth it.
I think this quote pretty much sums it all up-
"I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. Run the risk. If you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived."-Anthony Hopkins, Meet Joe Black
So to all those who are "trying" or experiencing that wonderful adventure of being single I say don't give up, don't think it's you (although if you are the crazy girl who calls 100 times or demonstrates any other borderline psycho behaviour it may be you), don't think that you don't deserve the man of your dreams, and don't forget to pray for guidance, help, comfort, patience, or anything else you need cuz it is all worth it in the end...
I love my husband and I have said it before and I will say it again.. if I would have known what the Lord had in store for me I would have waited a lifetime to find him!!

All my friends that watched that movie told me not to watch it because they thought it was depressing or something? I'm glad you got something out of it! That's true that once you find the love of your life it really does make all the hard times with dating worth it!

Wow. I mean to say WOW.

I might have to translate that quote and read it to my Marriage Prep class students.
