So I am sure that Shelly will be so happy to read this on the internet for anyone to see but I think that I may have more shows that I am addicted to than she does, which means with the strike ending I am super happy to indulge once again in all that crap that is on T.V. I do have to say, for the record, that between shows, music, and sports Shelly definitely spends more time on "entertainment" that I do/
That having been said.. Luckily I am a reality t.v. addict so most of the shows that I enjoy have continued during the last few months but here are the two that I have missed the most and that I couldn't be more excited that they are back.
GREY'S ANATOMY
When this show first started I would watch and episode here and there and I always really liked them but I honestly didn't think that the show would stick around for very long so I didn't invest too much time into getting to know the characters and story lines. Well thanks to my very persuasive friends and the changing from Sunday to Thursday I finally invested some time into watching Grey's and I have to say I don't have any regrets!!! I love Izzy and Meredith, they are the two characters that I relate to the most (depending on the situation) and I am excited to see what happens with the rest of the season.
GOSSIP GIRL (please don't judge me by my choice of shows!!)
Alright so I for sure think that the fact that Gossip Girl is set in New York may have a HUGE impact on New York Magazine picking them as the best new show but that's just my personal opinion.. Although I have to admit that it really is good. When I first heard the title of this new show I was certain that it would be horrible. I even told my young women that I couln't believe they would name a show such a degrading name. Well, my curiosity got the better of me and I found myself watching the pilot just to see what it was all about. The rest is history. I have been addicted to Gossip Girl ever since. I am also proud to say that I have drug my friend Jodi down the path with me ( although she didn't catch the feva till the re-runs started airing during the strike.) I am certain that it is only a matter of time until I can convince Shelly that it is worth her time as well ;) hint hint Shells!!!
I think that part of the reason I like this show so much is because it seems lately that so many shows have been centered around California and the wealthy out there... Those of you who really know me know that I LOVE New York and everything about it so to see a show that is based in a city I adore it is totally appealing to me.
Alright I will quit divulging secrets on the world wide web but for anyone who is interested in a show that is high drama and totally crazy and sometimes unbelievable, that your husbands or boyfriends will totally hate ( pretty sure Logan doesn't need to watch this one with me ;)) but that you and the girls can get together and watch it is on Monday nights at 8... Or you can totally Ti-Vo it and watch it at your convenience..
Let me know what you think or if you are already a fan feel free to let me know that as well..

I am glad you set the record straight!!! The only shows I am watching faithfully are Idol, Greys, Lost, and The HIlls. I believe that is way less than you for once. I do watch a lot more sports than you though....what can I say they are my weakness. I think you play more guitar hero than me, and you don't even own one!!
Love both of these shows and New York!
