Who do you look like...

Do people ever tell you that they remind you of someone they know?? I get told this all of the time... I think it is because of my generic, Brown hair and brown eyes but I don't know maybe there are just hundreds of people that look like me ;)... this week on facebook you are supposed to post a picture of a famous person that you get told you look like...(my mom, me, josiane- my brazilian mom I acutally think I look more like the brazilian!!)

So I posted this picture of Katherine Heigl... I am always flattered when people tell me that I look like a brunette version of "izzy".. the dude from Cafe rio even calls me izzy and insists on talking about Grey's Anatomy every time I go in there (which happens to be quite a bit)!


I just thought I would take a little break from the baby posts to ask all of you...

who do you get told you look like?? and.... do you take it as a compliment or does it make you feel bad???

Being told I look like Katherine Heigl never hurts my feelins!!

oh... how time flies!

It's been one month ( and 2 days) since our lives were blessed with this little cherub...

Little Hands, Little Feet

With her our lives feel complete... So Far...

She hates taking baths but loves to shower with her daddy (must take after her momma!!)

Cries only when she is hungry or has a gassy tummy

Can only wear "preemie" sizes

Sleeps for 4 hours, eats, and sleeps again ;)

Motherhood is the greatest! I love to just sit and hold her and kiss her...

Do you ever...

*Snuggle your baby in your arms long after she's asleep- just because

*Go into the baby's room countless times to make sure they are still breathing

*Wish sometimes that the baby would wake up- if only for a little bit

*Never tire of kissing chubby cheeks

* Look forward to 4am feedings

* Ponder on how someone so small can have such a HUGE hold on your heart

* Hold your finger under their nose to make sure they are breathing

*Wonder how you ever felt complete before having a baby

*Contemplate what the future has in store for her....

Just wondering if I was the only one!!

I am amazed every day at how much I love this little girl..

Happy New Year!!

We rang in the new years with our little girl in the hospital... She loves to cuddle with her daddy like this.. and I think it is safe to say that he is quite in love with her!!


Here is our little chickadee all bright-eyed and waiting for some dinner... We aren't sure- we know baby's eyes can change- but I am thinkin that she is gonna have her daddy's pretty blue eyes... (which is what I was hopin for)

And here's how our New Year's day ended....

Yep she barely (actually not quite but close enough) met the weight requirement to travel home in her car seat... she is such a good girl and we are absolutely loving having her sweet presence and spirit in our home... we don't even mind the sleep deprivation (not yet at least) We are still under quarantine- which means no visitors for a while but we can't wait for everyone to meet her!!
